You can compare up to 3 vehicles at a time.
Based on the Customs guide FOB value, not your actual invoice price.
Based on the Customs guide FOB value, not your actual invoice price.
We take the Customs used-vehicle FOB for the age you pick, convert it to ringgit, add 1.5% insurance and shipping (the T/S value), then apply the duty percentage for that engine size. The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) may assess a different amount after inspection.
FOB (Free On Board) is the Customs guide price before insurance, freight, and Malaysian taxes. Duty is estimated from this guide, not the price you paid. After you select a vehicle you can override FOB if you have an invoice or a closer match.
T/S is the transaction / taxable value. We convert the Customs FOB to MYR, add 1.5% insurance and shipping, then apply the duty percentage to that total. It is not the price you paid for the car.
By engine size: 0–1,499 cc and EV 135.95%; 1,500–1,799 cc 150.25%; 1,800–1,999 cc 157.40%; 2,000–2,499 cc 171.70%; 2,500 cc and above 193.15%. The estimate uses the rate for the vehicle you pick.
Guide FOB is lower for older cars. Age is grouped in 12-month bands from 12 months up to 60 months and above. Malaysia generally only allows used imports within the permitted age window — confirm current MITI / Customs rules before you buy.

Search the make, then pick the model from the list. Tick several to compare. If it is still missing, pick a close variant with the same engine size and override FOB, or contact us.
No. Treat it as a planning range when comparing recon cars, not a quote. AP, PEKEMA, JPJ, and transport are extra and are included in the total landed cost. Always verify with your importer and Customs before you buy.
A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-character code that serves as your car's fingerprint. It contains letters and numbers that identify:
You can find your VIN in several places on your vehicle:
Japanese carmakers do not use a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) as is common in the United States and elsewhere. Instead, Japan uses a Chassis (Frame) Number — nine to twelve alphanumeric characters identifying model and serial number.
Chassis Number: AGH30W-0018105
Vehicle make is not identified but slight number variations can identify the carmaker:
Because a Chassis Number contains less information than a VIN, Japanese vehicles also use a Model Code.
