Why is mileage missing or different?

Mileage discrepancies in OTOFACTS reports can occur for several reasons: odometer rollbacks (fraudulent tampering), replacement of faulty odometers, clerical errors in reporting, or different measurement units (kilometers vs miles). Significant discrepancies are flagged in the report, and we recommend having the vehicle inspected by a mechanic if mileage inconsistencies are noted.
